Step 1: Choosing Your Perfect Motherhood Session: When considering a motherhood session, think about the options you have: Mini Motherhood sessions are offered once a year in spring, Petite Sessions available year-round in the studio, or a Signature Session for a personalized on-location experience. Each session is designed to capture your unique journey in a genuine, heartfelt way. Reach out to learn more and find the perfect fit for you.
Step 2: Booking Your Motherhood Session: Scheduling your Motherhood Photography session in the Twin Cities is easy and stress-free. Choose your date and time from the booking link, complete the agreement and a short questionnaire, and your date is set! You'll receive helpful guides on FAQs, locations, and outfit ideas. The creative fee secures your spot, and after viewing your slideshow, you can purchase a collection. Ready to capture those unforgettable moments? Let's get started!
Step 3: Final Prep Before Your Session: A few days before your session, I’ll reach out to confirm all the details. If someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can discuss rescheduling options. Feel free to ask any last-minute questions. Signature sessions are flexible, while Petite sessions last 30 minutes, and Mini sessions are 15 minutes. Running late? Let me know! Take a breath and relax—this is going to be fun!
Step 4: Viewing and Choosing Your Photos: Within a couple of weeks, you'll get an email from me—your photos are ready! You’ll have 24 hours to enjoy a slideshow of your images and pick your collection. Then, you’ll have a whole month to select your favorite digital files and product items, with zero pressure. Want to see album covers and paper types in person? Swing by the studio—I'd love to show you!

How experienced are you in capturing motherhood photo sessions?: Michele has been a professional motherhood photographer for over 13 years. Motherhood has always been her passion since she herself realized she is always the one taking the pictures and not the one in the photos. Be in your photos with your children.
Do you have specific locations in Minneapolis that you recommend for motherhood photo sessions?: Michele's studio is located in NE Minneapolis. The center of the arts district. It's the perfect space for Motherhood photo sessions but if you are interested in an on-location outdoor session, Michele has a location guide she will share with you to discuss some options. In addition to Minneapolis, she also offers services in Twin Cities and St. Paul, Minnesota.
Are there specific times of day that are better for photo sessions?: If your session will be held at the studio or any indoor location, you will schedule between 10 am and 2 pm. If you are looking to schedule an outdoor photo session then you will schedule closer to sunset. Preferably within 2 hours of the sun setting.
Any recommendations on what to wear for the session?: Michele offers a complimentary studio wardrobe full of beautiful dresses for your motherhood photo session. She has dresses for moms and clothing for children under 5.
How far in advance do we need to book a motherhood photo session?: Michele typically books 6 weeks to 6 months in advance. It's never too early to book your motherhood session. If you are looking at her popular Motherhood Mini Sessions you will want to get on the waitlist now.
