Petite Session Information
Step 1: Scheduling your Session
To schedule your session you will choose a day and time from the booking link that will be sent to you. Once you do that, an agreement will be sent to you as well as a short questionnaire about your session. And then your date is on the books! You will receive a few different guides between when you have scheduled your session and when your session takes place which will address FAQ, location, what to wear etc. You will also receive your creative fee invoice which is due upon receipt.
Step 2: The Session Itself
A few days before our session is scheduled, I'll reach out to confirm our time and location details... at that point, if someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can talk about your rescheduling options. Otherwise, that's the perfect time to ask any last minute questions or let me know if you've come up with a fun idea we haven't discussed.
Petite photo sessions do have a 30 minute time limit. So if you are running late it is very important that you let me know. While I will do all I can to be flexible often times in the studio I have more than one client scheduled so your time may be cut short. Finally, take a breath and relax... we won't have a lot of time for breaks but the whole thing will be over before you know it! A painless process for everyone involved.
Please don't worry, this is fun!
Step 3: The Fun Part
Within a couple of weeks of your session, you’ll receive an email from me with a link to your private online gallery. From there, you can take your time viewing your images and choosing what fits your family best, whether that’s one of the collections or a custom mix of digital files and artwork.
Your gallery will remain active for 30 days, so you’ll have plenty of time to place orders and download your images without feeling rushed.
If you’re someone who likes to see and feel things in person (album covers, paper types, frame samples), I have product samples at the studio and I’m happy to schedule a quick time for you to stop by. I love helping clients choose pieces that actually fit their home and their style.
Ready for a session you’ll love? The commision for a petite studio session with me is $200, payable upon booking, and here’s what’s included:
- Expert guidance and help throughout the planning and prep stage (no guessing games here!)
- 30 minute studio session—we work fast but since we are in one location we have plenty of time to get those beautiful portraits.
- Access to my fabulous studio wardrobe and monthly Looks Book with shopping links
- Need a coffee or snack? I got you. It's all here at the studio.
- An online gallery to view your photos and purchase a collection, with zero pressure sales (promise!)
Just a heads-up: The $200 commision does NOT include any prints, digital images, or other photo products. These are ordered separately through your online gallery. Digital collections are available as well as tangible artwork such as: prints, frames, albums, etc. The online store expires after 30 days. Orders must be placed within this time frame.
The creative commision covers the time and talent needed to capture your family’s beautiful images and handle all the behind-the-scenes magic to make your session a success. It’s due soon after booking to secure your date on the calendar and is non-refundable.
Please note, the studio is small. Please only bring with you those who are being photographed. Extended family sessions do not work well in my studio. And unfortunately there is no elevator at the studio.
Let’s make some unforgettable memories together!
"Ohhhh Michele!!! This slideshow was an absolute tear jerker. These pictures are AMAZING! You captured the most precious images that my heart sees of little Johnny . These will be cherished forever. You are exceptional at your job! Thank you so much!!"

Petite Session Collections
All wall art and albums include the matching digital images.
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning for a photo session, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked... all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so I include a substantial print credit with every collection. Below is a sample of some of the items you can choose among:
Of course there is much more available in the store and directly through me. I am happy to send you a product catalog that lists ALL the things available from holiday cards to prints & canvases. There are options for every budget.
