This year I have photographed so many more seniors than I have in years past. I always forget how much I absolutely love photographing seniors until I have a session with one or in this case two! Another set of sibling twins graduating this summer! I have also had to decline quite a few seniors because I just didn't have anymore availability in my schedule and I felt absolutely awful about it.

Attention seniors and moms of seniors. If you plan to do senior photos you need to schedule your senior photos for the summer BEFORE your senior year. Fall is an extremely busy time for photographers in general because of the fall foliage. High Schools usually want photos submitted before mid October to early November for the yearbook. It will be near impossible to call up a photographer October 15th and requests photos for your deadline. I know for me personally, my fall scheduled is fully booked by September 1st. It takes approximately 2 weeks for me to edit and deliver photos. I could never meet that deadline.

Summer is a fabulous time for senior photos but even if you want fall photos you need to schedule well in advance and consider using the school photographer for the yearbook image and use your favorite photographer for prints and albums. Then you can schedule at anytime that's convenient for you.

In any event I had a blast with these twin siblings at Como Park. This is such a great location for senior photos because there is so many different locations to try out. Como Park is great for that park look but also a bit of urban look. It's the best of both worlds. And the best thing, I bring a tent so if you want to change your clothes you can. I need to take a behind the scenes picture but I keep forgetting!
