I’ve had the joy of photographing this family over the years, and this front-yard session was one of my favorites. With sprawling fall foliage as their backdrop, the kids ran, played, and jumped in leaf piles creating candid moments that turned into vibrant, heartfelt portraits.
Their new puppy even made a cameo! At first he was just having fun running around, but with a little encouragement, he sat perfectly for a few memorable family portraits too.
