Most people don’t need to think too hard about what they want to wear on a daily basis but if you’re having a professional photo session, your outfit is going to require a little more thought.
What you wear plays an important role in the success of your photo session and images.
5 Tips for choosing the ideal outfit
If at any point you are unsure about what you should wear, speak to your photographer who will be more than willing to help you out with additional tips.
Another thing to think about is consider the location of your photo session. Outdoor outfit color choices can be different than indoor outfit color choices. As well as the season. While dark colors look great at an outdoor photo session in fall, those same colors don't look as great if you're in the studio (or in front of pink trees in the spring). It's one of the reasons I prefer white, beiges, greys in my studio. This also applies to in-home sessions. Choose outfits and colors that coordinate with your decor. I'll leave you with a bit of my studio wardrobe . . . .
