Holding onto Life: A Premature Miracle's Journey at 25 Weeks

This little nugget was born prematurely at 25 weeks on January 5th. He was weighing a whopping 1.5 lbs the first time I met him. His nurses like to call him a "feisty little man"! The first time I went to photograph him he had just had a bad night so he couldn’t be held by mama and had to stay in his isolate. So I promised mom and dad that I would come back when things were going better. But I still managed to get a couple of shots while I was there.

Thriving Against the Odds: Celebrating Remarkable Progress at Two Months

Almost two months later here we were again; but this time looking pretty darn good. I think his "feistiness" is starting to pay off! He is growing and overall health is in good condition which makes mom and dad very happy. I mean look how far he has come in less than 2 months!
