I spend a lot of time telling my clients’ stories, but today I thought I’d share a little more of mine. If you’ve ever wondered what I’m like outside of a camera in my hands or behind a computer editing with questionable posture, here are 10 things you might not know about me.
10 personal facts (the fun, slightly random edition)
-
My go-to coffee order (when I’m feeling it):
A chai latte. Not every single time, but often enough that it feels like me. -
A thing I’m not going to pretend about:
I genuinely don’t know what my “hidden talent” is. If you asked me on the spot, I’d probably stare into the distance like a confused golden retriever. But I do know I’m good at what I do, and I’ll let that count. -
A random fear or thing that makes me nervy:
Critters. Birds especially. Honestly, most animals that move unpredictably make me a little jumpy. If it flutters, scurries, hops, or has surprise energy, my nervous system is like, “Absolutely not.” -
A guilty pleasure:
Being a little nosey. Not in a dramatic way, more like I love noticing what people are doing, how they live, and the tiny details that make them them. It’s probably why I love documenting families, honestly. -
What lights me up:
Compliments. I’m not even going to pretend I’m above it. If someone says something kind and specific, it sticks with me in the best way. -
A dream I have outside of business:
A life that feels a little more light. Not rushed. Not crammed. Just more room to breathe and enjoy the days I’m in. -
My ideal weekend vibe:
Something cozy, something fun, and at least one moment where I get to dress up a little, even if I’m just going to dinner or running errands like it’s a casual runway. -
A small thing that makes me irrationally happy:
A clean, bright space. Simple. Calm. Natural light. If a room feels like exhaling, I’m instantly happier. -
A personality trait that shows up everywhere:
I’m both sentimental and sarcastic. I can get teary over something sweet and immediately make a joke because feelings are a lot. -
Something I’m working on (in real life, not a self help way):
Accepting people for who they are, not who I want them to be. Which sounds peaceful and mature and is also something I have to practice constantly.
Your turn.
What’s something unexpected about you? Tell me in the comments. I’d love to hear.
