I love dogs. I've learned a lot from having a dog(s). And one thing in particular is they will inevitably break your heart. But they bring so much joy and happiness to your life while they are in it that you can't but always have one in your life. I know there are people who don't particular like dogs and I'm pretty sure those people just never grew up with one. Because I think once you let one into your life, your whole world changes. In any event I got to photograph the cutest little guy with his new humans brothers. One big fluff ball, named Henry. This family had recently lost their other Golden Retriever, Truman, who I just adored. Truman was my old dog, Jack's BFF. I'm not sure Truman was too keen on our new puppy, Dagny, when we brought her home she was a bit too rambunctious for him I think. While I miss both Truman and Jack it's been quite adorable watching Henry and Dagny become fast friends. I'll have to get some images of them together they are so stinking cute! And Henry is getting so big already that's it's almost quite unbelievable he was ever this small. So without further adieu . . . .
Dogs come into our life to teach us about love. They depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog, it merely expands the heart.
