This week is Spring Break! In one of our harshest winters since living here we are going no where! Boo. So since we plan on sticking around I thought I would relive last year when we headed to Naples, Florida. I remember it not being terribly warm but high 60's low 70's is still better than mid 30's! The pictures I'm going to share here are all film images. I'm in love with film and I find I take very few digital images of my family anymore. I think I'd actually like to start using film on my clients but that might still be a ways off. I still don't think film is as appreciated as digital because it does have it's flaws but I love it in all its imperfect ways.
Before I share I want to mention that I'm participating in a blog circle this week. My friend Janis in Canada will be sharing an unusual location for a extended family session she did. Super awesome. So be sure to scroll to the end of this post to click the link to head over to her blog post.
In any event if you're stuck home like we are this spring break, take a virtual vacation here:
ok I'm not sure reminiscing about my last year's spring break is actually making me feel any better about not going anywhere this year. In fact I might be more depressed now.
So it's time to head over to Ontario Canada where my friend Janis Lempera a Toronto lifestyle and documentary family photographer is sharing why a graffiti covered park under the highway is a perfect spot for an extended family photo session. You won't want to miss it.
