I photographed this beautiful family and the addition of their brand new baby girl. They came into my studio in Northeast Minneapolis a little over a week after baby was born. It was perfect timing. The best time to photograph a newborn is 7-15 days after baby is born; unless of course you are doing a Fresh 48 in which case that's the best time to get them when they are fresh and little.
This session was special because I photographed big sister when she turned one last summer. Toddlers usually don't have much interest in babies so you have to work quick to get them involved. Which of course we did. Their sweet new baby was so mellow I think she slept the whole time.
Look how sweet these munchkins are? They will be such great friends. I'm partial to siblings close in age since my own children are only 18 months apart. Stay tuned to the end of the blog post where I'll post a link to big sisters one year session at the park last summer.
Last summer big sister turned one and she had a lovely session outside at a nearby garden. CLICK HERE to take a peek.
