The Power of Determination

As a Minneapolis NICU Photographer, I've had the privilege of witnessing such journeys firsthand. The environment of the NICU is filled with a unique blend of hope, resilience, and determination. It's a place where every moment counts and where the smallest victories are celebrated with utmost joy.

With unwavering determination and top-notch care from the dedicated team at Masonic, a diagnosis of Biliary Atresia was added to the initial bowel issues. Surgery on June 20th provided a glimmer of hope, although it's often a temporary solution for babies with Biliary Atresia. Despite the possibility of a liver transplant in the future, the spirit remains unbreakable.

"Our main goal right now is eating and growing," the parents shared, radiating optimism. "She will likely end up having a transplant in the next year. But just another hurdle we’ll conquer together! And we’re glad to be home."
