Welcoming Baby Louise: A Story of Love and Joy

On December 13, 2023, at Fairview Edina, little Louise made her grand entrance. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and stretching out to 20 inches, she was all set for her first photo session. Her mom shared, that she was “So happy, overjoyed, and relieved that [Louise] was healthy and finally here. Both my husband and I cried when they put her on me, it was a feeling of love I had never felt before. ”

Crafting Timeless Memories in the NE Minneapolis Studio

My studio is split into two: one side is all bright whites and the other features a cool, lime-washed blue wall with wood floors—perfect for any mood or style you’re going for. For Louise's session, her mom and I picked out a gorgeous dress from my studio wardrobe for her to wear, and we swaddled Louise in cozy, stylish wraps. Mom really appreciated this: “Having the wardrobe available for me and our daughter (and husband if needed) was huge to take that off of my plate, leading up to the session, and to have such a variety of dresses and outfits to pick from for baby as well made it so easy and stress-free!”

A Natural, Baby-led Approach to Newborn Photography

My style is all about letting the baby lead the way. I believe every little one is unique, and the photos should reflect that. No uncomfortable poses or forced smiles—just your baby being their adorable self, and me capturing those moments with my camera.
